The Lobas Story.
Inspired out of admiration and respect for her dear friend, Steve Sabol, Alicia Zubikowski started Lobas Productions. Sabol built an amazing brand and company with NFL Films that can never be duplicated but it’s our mission to apply what he taught us and create the most compelling and entertaining stories in television. Our philosophy is simple: Develop good relationships and the stories will unravel from there.
Our goal at Lobas Productions is to create projects and produce stories that make you feel and think far beyond what you see on the screen. With experience in storytelling, effective interviewing skills, strong relationships, and award winning-cinematography: our vision is to inspire not just the die-hard fans but captivate a broader audience who are simply drawn in by a good story. On any given project, Lobas Productions has the ability to put together a team of All-Stars, choosing from some of the best documentarians, writers, producers, directors, composers, narrators and cinematographers in the industry. We love the opportunity to divulge the untold stories and welcome the challenge to tell a familiar story in a distinct way.
Additionally, Lobas Productions has strategic partnerships with media and entertainment-related companies, working with several major broadcast and cable networks, digital media outlets, distributors, athletes and advertisers to reach audiences of all ages around the world. We offer a variety of services including but not limited to television production, screen writing, long and short features, digital content, reality television, licensing, live events, charity partnerships and celebrity endorsements. We leverage our relationships in the business to land the hard sell and pave the way for our team to do what they do best- make things happen.
About The Tie.
Incorporating the “tie” in our logo is our way of incorporating Steve’s memory and vision in all that we do. It’s no secret that Steve Sabol was a pioneer and a legend in the film making business, but what you may not know is Steve applied that same “take a chance” philosophy to his wardrobe. Steve was known for wearing vibrant, eye-catching often head scratching ties on camera… types of ties that if you saw them on another person you’d think “oh boy, is this the most hideous thing I’ve seen”. But when you’d see Steve wearing these ties, it ignited a different “oh boy” type of feeling- because you knew you were in for a fascinating story that would probably stick with you the rest of your life…This is the type of television we strive to create.
